CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
At the Forum for Women in Research, we believe that great ideas deserve the opportunity to grow. The QUWA Research Grants support women researchers with competitive funding to develop innovative projects that address today’s most pressing scientific and societal challenges. Through the generous support of our strategic and industry partners, the program provides researchers with valuable opportunities to advance their work, foster collaboration, and transform innovative ideas into impactful outcomes. By investing in research excellence and knowledge exchange, the Forum seeks to empower researchers, accelerate discovery, and contribute to sustainable development through innovation.
Research grants are awarded across multiple categories, including sponsor-supported special tracks, with individual project funding
ranging from AED 10,000 to AED 25,000.

Category 5:
• H.H. Shaikha Jawaher Center for Palestinian Studies Track: Women's Studies in Palestine

The Winning Research Projects will be selected based on:
• Scientific Rigor
• Community Impact
• Novelty
• Industry Partnership
Terms and Conditions
• The research work should not be published before the date of the Forum.
• Participants must specify the current phase of their submitted research in the submission template as follows:
• Research Proposal: Expected results are provided.
• Research in Progress: Preliminary results available, but the work is still ongoing and unpublished.
• The prize should be spent on the research project (e.g., conference expenses, publication fees, project resources, software, etc.).
• The prize winner should acknowledge the sponsor in her publication.
• The applicant should submit only one research study as the principal investigator (PI).
• The main applicant (PI) should be a female researcher at a university (faculty member, postdoctoral fellow, graduate student (MSc/PhD), or research assistant).
• The PI must be a female researcher; the research team may include male collaborators/researchers.
