Who are we?
The Middle East Professional Learning Initiative (MEPLI) supports teacher educators and system level leaders in developing practices, programs, and structures to help improve student opportunities for learning and achieving productive sustainable lives.
MEPLI is situated within the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Professional Education division which serves over 19,000 educators in 140 countries annually with transformative professional learning experiences.
What is the MEPLI Fellowship?
MEPLI aims to support and develop teacher educators’ capacity in the region. The Fellowship is job-embedded and lasts for one year, providing scholarships for Professional Education courses and fostering a community of practice for developing new approaches to teacher development. Fellows receive a certificate from Professional Education, H arvard Graduate School of Education, upon successful completion of the program.
Why apply?
As a Fellow, you will: • Join a cohort of 25+ peers, share your expertise and benefit from the expertise of your cohort and past Fellows • Participate in Professional Education programs at the Harvard Graduate School of Education* • Strengthen your leadership within your professional networks and facilitate connections to further collective impact • Participate in local and/or virtual professional convenings with your cohort and other change agents • Receive support and coaching for incorporating what you learn into your work with teachers

Who should apply?
Teacher educators in Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine with demonstrated experience and commitment to teacher preparation and development within the context of schools, universities, government agencies, or NGOs.
